One day it's a nightly laser show in the parking lot of a casino and the next its a choreographed fountain show with flashing lights and pumping music. Soon, a volcano erupts at the entrance to a casino while inside, circus performers fly through the air and dazzle the crowds of people below. Walt Disney World? No, just another night on the Vegas Strip. Modern casinos don't need to promote their gaming rooms anymore. Instead, they are focused on providing broad appeal, high quality, and sometime outrageous acts that will being people in from all over the world. Vegas is no longer just about poker and slot machines, it is becoming the top place for diverse entertainment that can appeal to a broad spectrum of the public. Some will end up gaming and others will not. But if they succeed in drawing big crowds every night, the casino resort will always win.
